Job Title: Telephone Account Executive

Location: Direct365, Skelmersdale

Salary: £22,500.00

Full Time position – guaranteed full time hours 

The purpose of this role is to ensure the delivery of an excellent ‘Direct365 Customer Journey’, with a clear focus on delivering sales through service. You will develop and maintain excellent relations with exiting customers resulting in increased sales revenue. This is to be achieved through proactive and reactive communication with our customers.

You will deliver performances that maximise competitive advantage. You will work in a challenging, motivational culture and environment where all team members develop and demonstrate their full potential. In turn achieving business KPI’s and objectives.

Keys Tasks:

  • Maintain excellent knowledge of our portfolio of products and services to understand customer’s needs.
  • Undertake outbound sales calls against predefined campaigns with set call targets. Proactively contact customers and identify their business needs in relation to our core products and services.
  • Proactively look for opportunities to up sell products and services to enhance the customer experience and increase revenue.
  • Work against agreed KPI’s to ensure all personal and business targets are met.
  • Report regular to team leader on all activities relating to the role.
  • To work as part of a team to develop the concept of One Team = One Organisation, taking ownership of challenges and foster an environment of continuous improvement.
  • Manage the implantation of new accounts. Ensure the business is compliant and that all customer problems are resolved to prevent repetition.
  • Undertake any other duties are required.
  • Ensure correct use of internal systems to follow the outbound sales process.
  • Ensure all leads are followed up promptly and quoted accurately.
  • Ensure accurate call recordings are taken at point of sale.
  • Complete accurate order form at point of sale.

Key competencies required:

  • Proven experience within a Sales through service role.
  • A successful track record in achieving objectives and KPI’s.
  • A determined, outgoing, and competitive attitude with a passion for Customer Care and track record in negotiating and balancing customer needs/expectations with business KPI’s
  • Ability to work under pressure, self-motivated and driven.
  • Team player with the ability to always portray a positive attitude.
  • Excellent telephone communication skills with a confident, approachable, and professional manner.
  • Ability to manage difficult situations and the stress associated with them.
  • Excellent soft skills – including listening, motivating, and communicating.
  • Well, presented with a positive and proactive approach.
  • IT Literate- MS Office, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint packages and the ability to adapt to new CRM systems.

In return for your commitment and expertise as a Telephone account executive at Direct365, you will get:

  • A salary of £22,500,000 OTE £35,000.00 in a permanent full-time position.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual who is highly organised and efficient with the ability to work across multiple projects.

As the role is administrative focused, the successful candidate should be computer literate as they will be working with different systems and will need to learn new systems and processes where required.

The successful candidate will be comfortable speaking to customers and suppliers with the confidence to make suggestions and problem solve based off data.
