About The Role

Area Sales Manager

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a field-based sales role, developing a sales strategy to acquire new business across the industry.  This is a high volume, fast paced, targeted role so you must work effectively and efficiently in this type of environment.  You will have a New Business target to hit every period so your drive to achieve this should be unwavering. You will also be required to renew, upgrade and manage customers’ accounts to ensure that we deliver a best in class service. You will have an outgoing personality and be self-motivated, with the ability to bring positive energy and focus to your team and colleagues across the business.

A day in the life of an Area Sales Manager at phs Wastekit will involve:

  • Hunting for new customers through own lead generation and cold calling
  • Conducting customer appointments
  • Negotiating and closing deals with our diverse customer base
  • Managing existing customer accounts
  • Communicating with internal business colleagues
  • Execute our sales strategy that result in exceptional customer experience

The ideal candidate for an Area Sales Manager at phs Wastekit will have:

  • A talent and successful track record of securing New Business out in the field
  • Experience in selling multiple products and services across serval sectors
  • Tenacity, drive, self-motivation, and competitive nature
  • Bias for action, independent and confident
  • Experience in a waste, recycling, or similar industry (desirable)
  • Experience using CRM (Salesforce) and a good level of IT proficiency

In return for your commitment and expertise, you will get:

  • Base salary of £30k (this includes London weighting) and OTE of £55k
  • Car or car allowance

  • 23 days holiday allowance plus bank holidays
