What details can you share about the favorite part of your role and the team here?
I enjoy every part of my job, but the favorite part is interacting with the team. Making sure the drivers and the laundry staff have what they need to complete their roles.
What does your average day look like?
My average day is running routes, ensuring the laundry is fully operational and that drivers are completing routes.
What stands out to you about the company culture?
PHS care, I’ve been here 5 months now and when I’ve needed help someone is always on the end of a phone. Besafe are a great team to be part of and encourage teamwork.
How has our organisation helped with your professional development?
Because the company has policies and procedures in place, I can trust that problems are sorted correctly. In previous jobs I used to get very frustrated at people who were exploiting the system and managers ignoring it. Here they are dealt with, this has taught me to be calmer and patient. Also being a new manager PHS has allowed me to run the depot my way which shows they have faith and confidence in me.
What are some benefits of working here that you enjoy or appreciate?
PHS are local to me so 8 minutes’ drive and I’m home. The hours are great and getting paid every 4 weeks makes budgeting so much easier. Working days are Monday to Friday and all this gives me a good work/lifestyle balance.
I appreciate my peers; they listen to me and always give me honest encouraging feedback.
What advice would you give someone who is considering working here?
I would say “join the team” If you’re willing to work and be part of a team then PHS is the right place for you. They encourage people to push themselves but if your happy just doing your job well and going home then that’s okay.

My Favorite Part of the Role and Team:
One of the things I enjoy most about my role as a Service Driver at PHS is the variety and the constant change. No two days are ever the same, which keeps things interesting. The team is fantastic. Everyone is friendly, supportive, and always willing to lend a helping hand. It's a great environment to work in.
A Typical Day:
My average day involves driving to various client sites, collecting and delivering P.P.E and linen. I interact with clients daily and ensure they are satisfied with our services. There's a good balance of driving and customer service, which I appreciate.
