We are looking for a strategic manager with experience of delivering consistent and sustainable growth, with a good knowledge of Telesales, solution selling methods, a clear vision of best practice and the ability to deliver these standards.

A day in the life of a Sales and Business Development Manager at phs Group will involve:

 

  • Evolving Direct365’s customer offering to enable exponential growth in customer numbers, value, and satisfaction for our rapidly growing SME customer base.
  • Day to day management of our Inbound Sales, Business Development and Retention Teams.
  • Defining and developing the sales, business development and retention strategies and implementation plan, embedding the changes to maximise sustainable growth.
  • Working with our Business Analysts using customer insight with focus on customer numbers, satisfaction, and value to deliver growth.
  • Working closely with our suppliers’ team, identifying, and scoping out opportunities for new ranges and service lines to complement current ranges, with clear accurate launch plans.
  • Evaluation of market trends to stay ahead of the competition.
  • Evaluating our working practices in sales and retention, working closely with our Customer Experience Manager to attain continuous improvement in the customer experience.
  • Identifying any technological improvements needed with the departments.
  • Working with the Senior Management Team in evolving the customer journey, defining key performance measures, areas for improvement and developing solutions.

 

The ideal candidate for a Sales and Business Development Manager at phs Group will have:

 

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Sales, Business Development or Retentions Management role, with demonstrable experience of the success achieved.
  • A deep understanding of solution selling methods and techniques.
  • Strong organisational communication and negotiation skills at all levels.
  • An ability to formulate a clear strategy, implement and deliver plans for enhanced growth and customer experience, with a proactive, determined, and involved approach
  • The ability to listen and articulate issues confidently yet sensitively, influencing effectively throughout the organisation.

 

In return for your commitment and expertise as a Sales and Business Development Manager at phs Group, you will get:

 

  • A good salary of £50,000 with OTE of £68,600
  • Excellent commission, car allowance and bonus benefits
  • Great working hours, Monday to Friday between 8.30am – 5pm (37.5 hours a week)
  • 23 days holiday, plus bank holidays (31 days in total)
