The ideal candidate for a Purchase Ledger Clerk (Accounts Payable)
This role is for a special individual with great purchase ledger experience, who has the focus and motivation to deal with high volumes of invoices. As well as checking, matching, and processing purchase orders, you’ll be reconciling delivery notes and supplier statements. Therefore, attention to detail and being organised are essential. You’ll also need good multi-tasking skills, as there may be complex queries to explore, new accounts to create and auditors to liaise with. Finally, you will need good interpersonal skills, a positive mindset and experience with Excel, SAGE and BACS.

Other tasks include:
- Looking after our accounts payable processes and ensuring our ledgers are up to date.
- Checking and coding high volumes of purchase orders.
- Matching purchase orders and reconciling delivery notes to invoices.
- Complex invoices (contractual)
- Setting up and maintaining supplier accounts.
