This is a rare opportunity, as vacancies in this team do not arise very often.

 

We are looking for someone who enjoys speaking with customers. You may be looking to start in Telesales as a career, or already have experience as a Telesales Executive or Sales Advisor. You’ll be joining phs Group – the leading Personal Hygiene Services company in the UK. A day in the life of an Inbound Telesales Advisor with us at phs Group:

 

  • You’ll be receiving calls from business customers interested in our products and services, turning these enquiries into sales by providing the best products for their requirements.
  • You will need to establish the need and demonstrate the features, advantages, and benefits to the customer of the products that will genuinely benefit their business and agree the sale.
  • There is demand for our products, so you may be speaking with about 40 customers a day via phone or web-chat.
  • First impressions last. As an ambassador for phs Group, your interactions with new business customers using us for the first time will be vital in retaining their business for many years.
  • You’ll be focusing on the quality of the sale, so will follow up with the customer and close sales over the phone, as well as liaising with our field sales teams so they can visit clients.
  • Your suggestions for improvement are also welcome - if you see something you think we can do more efficiently you’ll be helping us keep the customer at the heart of what we do.

 

The ideal candidate for an Inbound Telesales Advisor at phs Group:

 

  • You don’t need Telesales experience, many of our team have come from Customer Service backgrounds – it’s all about the quality of the conversations, identifying products or services that would benefit the customer and explaining how they will benefit their business.
  • What we do want is someone with a positive attitude who can demonstrate loyalty to an employer, and we’ll invest time and support into your career here with us.
  • You need to be polite, friendly and articulate, but concise when needed, as we are a busy department and we don’t want to keep customers waiting if possible.
  • You’ll need to be computer literate – many of our customers may want to speak with us via a live web-chat. Experience using Microsoft Office is required, and knowledge of other systems such as Sales Force would be an advantage.
  • We also need someone who can pick up on information quickly, as there are products that you need to learn about, and systems training, so we can help our customers efficiently.
