Remedials Service Manager – London
As a Regional Remedial Service Manager at PHS Compliance , you’ll be managing a team of remedial engineers ensuring that Key Performance Indicators are achieved, and work is completed to a high standard. Making sure that all Health, Safety, Fleet, Technical and Operational procedures are followed whilst complying with company accreditations and current legislation.
The role of a Remedial Service Manager at phs Compliance will involve:
- Managing engineer’s activity on site. Review and report on productivity daily and action any issues promptly.
- Ensure all engineers are correctly using their PDA’s and submitting all reports and paperwork within the agreed SLA’s.
- Measure and value engineers completed work to prepare for billing, and review and approve invoices related to completed work.
- Liaising with National Remedial Manager on attrition within their region and adequately resourced in line with order book requirements.
- Ensuring engineers adhere to Health & Safety at Work Regulations, Health & Safety Policies and create client specific Risk & method statements for engineers to follow.
- Promoting and managing safe driving standards, to review company vehicle usage and upkeep.
- Managing employee absence including holidays, review and action any high Bradford scores and manage long term sick employees.
- Onboarding new starters and giving extra support to individuals during their probation period.
- Conducting face to face toolbox talks and have 121's with engineers once every 6 weeks.
- Carrying out onsite inspection audits and post site completion audits for engineers in line with KPI’s addressing areas of concern and providing training where required.
- Carrying out first stage investigation, performance management, disciplinary and grievance procedures.
- Processing engineers PDA timesheets weekly and verify on/off site times using tracking software and review overtime.

The ideal candidate for Remedial Service Manager at phs Compliance will have:
- Full UK manual Driving License for a minimum of 12 months (Subject to insurance requirements), with a maximum of 6 points
- IOSH Managing Safely or willingness to achieve.
- Any relevant industry qualifications
- Level 3 management qualification or willingness to work towards
- Excellent technical knowledge of the services provided by the business.
- A motivational leader who inspires teams to drive delivery and high performance.
- The ability to make logical and well thought out decisions.
- Understanding of Health and Safety and its importance in the workplace.
- To be able to communicate effectively and confidently with clients and colleagues at all levels.
